Transcendent Capital Management is a Commodity Trading Advisor that manages accounts for individuals and institutions using a combination of discretionary and systematic trading in the currency markets. Our philosophy is that attractive risk-adjusted returns are best achieved by utilizing a sound fundamental understanding of the global economy. Our proprietary system helps us find price levels in which we place orders that share a consensus with our fundamental bias.

Our Strategy

Transcendent Capital’s primary trading style is to take short to medium term trades in the direction of the longer term trend, the path of least resistance. We scale in to our trades so we can take a progressively larger position as the market pulls back to an area of support or resistance that defines our execution zone. All trades are planned such that the cumulative size of the position and the protective stop used will not exceed the maximum risk defined by each client. We scale out of trades at support/resistance levels, progressively taking profit and reducing risk while leaving a position in place to take advantage of continued movement in the direction of the trade as long as possible, while protecting profits through the use of a trailing stop.
