Robin Mueller VP/Chief Market Strategist
Robin has been trading the Foreign Currency Market for 6 years. Along the way his focus has mainly been on trading the majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, USD/JPY, USD/CAD) and the major crosses (GBP/JPY, EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY). While Robin’s analysis is primarily technical in nature, he keeps abreast of fundamentals as an aid in gauging longer term market sentiment and in identifying potentially high volatility news items that could impact a trade.
His approach to trading is a conservative one, analyzing the overall trends of the various currency pairs and scaling into and out of positions in areas of support and resistance with the aim of building positions in the direction of the trend and banking profits while leaving a portion of the trade open to capture larger moves in the market. The goal of this approach is to show consistent, sustainable growth with the least amount of risk possible.
Robin firmly believes that the most important thing he possesses as a trader is the comfort level he has achieved with his approach to the markets and his ability to develop a trading plan that utilizes this comfort level. This confidence in his trading strategy and his trading plans allow him to comfortably take the daily risks that come as a part of trading.
